Route 1: Engelberg - Oberbergstrasse -
Waterfall - Herrenrüti - Alpenrösli - Stäfeli (1050
m - 1390 m; 18 km )

First a flat stretch on the little-used Oberberg road. At the end of the road continue on the wide track to the water-fall. After the valley station of the Fürenalp funicular, an ascent of medium difficulty, at first on asphalt, then on a good dirt track to Restaurant Alpenrösli. |
